Thefts of Copper from HVAC Units
Since mid-November of 2011, there have been eleven reported incidents of thefts from businesses.
The suspect(s) damaged and stole copper from air conditioning units. In most cases they accessed the roof of the building to commit the crimes.
Most of the thefts occurred between 10 PM and 6 AM.
Ten occurred in the Ventura Village, Phillips West and Midtown neighborhoods. One occurred on 36th and Hiawatha.
